Terms & Conditions

  1. This terms and conditions relate to the specific usage of the Exams Booking section in the website www.trinitycollege.com.my
  2. An entity or individual must register as an Applicant to enrol candidates for exams with Trinity College London via the Exam Booking platform.
  3. All correspondence will be with the Applicant only, using the indicated email registered by the Applicant.
  4. It is the responsibility of the Applicant to ensure their user account has the most up-to-date email for continued correspondence.
  5. Trinity will process any refund request for any exam fees paid only if the request is made, in written form through our website, within 3 (Three) working days, from the date of the initial exam booking. The refunds process will take 14 working days to complete, once all relevant information has been obtained from the said Applicant.
  6. Candidate name amendments are NOT ALLOWED after submission of the exam entry form. It is the sole responsibility of the Applicant to ensure the candidate name entered is complete and accurate at point of entry.
  7. Any changes in details to the instrument or grade will incur a surcharge.
  8. In certain locations where results and certificates will be couriered to the postal address provided. It is the responsibility of the Applicant to ensure their user account has the most updated postal address.
  9. Pursuant to #8, Trinity is not responsible for any missing certificates due to incomplete / incorrect postal address on the part of the Applicant. A certificate re-print fee will apply.
  10. The Applicant hereby agrees to the policy and procedures, including all charges applicable, for all Trinity College London exams conducted in Malaysia, as published at trinitycollege.com.my
  11. By submitting for an exam, the Applicant agrees to abide by the regulations of Trinity College London as published at trinitycollege.com/music-regulations.
  12. The Applicant will have obtained parental / guardian consent for the processing of personal data about candidates under 16 for the purpose of registering for the exam. This includes sensitive data for the purpose of requesting special adjustments, should you have any candidates with special needs and require such provision in the exam space.
  13. The Applicant consents to the transfer of personal data from Trinity to the local area representative / exam centre based on the candidate's locality.

Addendum – as of 1 January 2023, in application for F2F exam sessions

  1. In the event the F2F exam registered does not materialise, the registered entry will be automatically shifted to next F2F session.
  2. Once an exam appointment slip is issued, no withdrawal or changes to the exam date / exam mode is allowed.
  3. In the event the time-tabled F2F exam clashes specifically to a school exam / public / external exam on the same day, the candidate will issued with a 100% re-entry permit valid for 12 months. This has to be supported by official documentation.
  4. The candidate is permitted to apply this re-entry permit for a future F2F or DGD exams. (No refunds will be permitted if any fee differential arises in the application of this re-entry permit)
